Choosing the right size
Diameters are measured across the top rim; the flat base is usually 3 to 5 cm (1–2″) smaller. Match the base to your hob ring or zone. On an induction hob, check that induction is listed under Hob types: a magnet sticks firmly to a base that works on induction.
Granite-effect coating on a light aluminium body
- Body: aluminium, light to lift and quick to heat
- Coating: a cream non-stick coating with a fine brown granite speckle
- Base: stainless steel, for induction hobs
- Handle: a curved wood-grain handle with a hanging hole
- Sizes: 20, 24 or 27 cm across, about 5 to 6 cm deep
Fry at low to medium heat with a little oil, and use wooden or silicone tools to keep the coating smooth.

Care and cleaning
Let the pan cool before washing it. Wash it by hand in warm soapy water with a soft sponge and dry it straight away.
