Four cuts, one tulip shape

  • Patterns: a fan of cut rays, fronds, straight flutes and a diamond lattice, one glass of each
  • Bowl: tulip-shaped, widest low down and narrowing toward the rim
  • Foot: a short thick stem on a heavy round foot
  • Capacity: about 150 ml each

The narrowing bowl holds the aroma for nosing a dram. Pour a small measure and swirl it in the wide lower part.
