Clear glass, held shut by a steel clip
- Seal: a silicone ring sits between the lid and the rim and is pressed down when the clip closes
- Clip: a stainless steel wire clasp on a hinge, so the lid stays attached when open

The 1000 ml jar is 17.5 cm (6.9″) tall, so check the shelf height first. The clip is metal, so keep the jar out of the microwave.

Care and cleaning
Wash the jar and lid by hand in warm soapy water. Lift the silicone ring out to clean under it, then let everything dry before closing the clip.

Do all sizes have the same opening? Yes. Each jar is 11 cm across, so the lids look the same; only the height changes.
Can I use it in the microwave? No. The clip is metal, so warm the contents in another dish.
What can I keep in it? Honey, jam, pickles, fruit preserves, sugar, pasta, rice or dried herbs.
