A small, deep ceramic bowl in a glossy reactive glaze, for rice, soup, noodles or dessert. Choose blue or dark blue and brown.
A glaze that pools and streaks
- Material: ceramic with a smooth, glossy glaze inside and out
- Glaze: a reactive finish with fine streaks, so each bowl's pattern varies a little
- Shape: rounded and deep, with a thin dark rim and a short foot ring
- Size: small enough to hold in one hand while you eat with chopsticks
- Use: rice, soup, noodles, dips or desserts
You get one bowl in the colour you choose. The spoon, chopsticks, board and other bowls in the photos are props and are not included. Because the glaze reacts in firing, the streaks on your bowl will differ slightly from the photos.
Available colours
- Blue: a deep blue that lightens to fine blue streaks inside
- Dark Blue/Brown: a dark blue glaze with brown and gold streaks towards the base

Frequently asked questions
Is the spoon included? No. You get one bowl; the spoon, chopsticks and the other pieces in the photos are props.
Will my bowl look exactly like the photo? Close, but not identical. The glaze runs during firing, so the streaks differ a little from bowl to bowl.
What can I serve in it? It suits a portion of rice, miso soup, noodles, dips or a small dessert.
