- Blade length
- 21.2 cm (8.3″)
- Blade steel
- Damascus-pattern steel, uncoated, hand-hammered upper face
- Handle
- Red-brown wood, two rivets and a medallion pin, steel bolster

Caring for your knives
Hand-wash and dry a knife straight after use; a dishwasher dulls the edge and can crack wooden handles. Cut on wood or plastic, never on glass, stone or a plate, and store knives in a block, a sheath or on a magnetic strip.
A hammered face over a patterned blade
- Blade: 21.2 cm long and 5.1 cm deep, with a Damascus pattern below a dimpled, hand-hammered band.
- Edge: ground on both sides, so it works for left- and right-handed cooks.
- Handle: red-brown wood with two steel rivets, a medallion pin and a polished bolster.
- Weight: 259 g, 34.5 cm overall.
Good to know: the dimples help slices come away from the blade, but they do not stop them sticking entirely. The edge is uncoated and very sharp.
