Caring for a wooden board
Wash a wooden board by hand, dry it standing on its edge and oil it now and then with a food-safe oil. Never soak it or put it in the dishwasher: water that soaks in makes wood swell and crack.

Scrape off dough with a plastic scraper, then wash the board in warm soapy water and dry it with a soft cloth.
