Choosing the right size
Diameters are measured across the top rim; the flat base is usually 3 to 5 cm (1–2″) smaller. Match the base to your hob ring or zone. On an induction hob, check that induction is listed under Hob types: a magnet sticks firmly to a base that works on induction.

Care and cleaning
Let it cool open, then wash the plates in warm soapy water with a soft sponge. The supplier says it is dishwasher safe, though washing by hand keeps the coating longer.
Frequently asked questions
Does it work on induction? The supplier does not say. Aluminium alone does not work on induction, so plan to use it on gas.
