Choosing the right size
Diameters are measured across the top rim; the flat base is usually 3 to 5 cm (1–2″) smaller. Match the base to your hob ring or zone. On an induction hob, check that induction is listed under Hob types: a magnet sticks firmly to a base that works on induction.
Titanium inside and out
- Uncoated: the pot is titanium inside and out, with nothing applied to the cooking surface.
- Glass lid: a fitted glass lid with a metal knob lets you watch the pot without lifting it.
- Two handles: riveted side handles for a steady two-handed lift.
- Hob to oven: used on an induction hob and can go into the oven.
Good to know: the metal handles and knob get hot on the hob and in the oven, so use oven gloves.
