Choosing the right size
Diameters are measured across the top rim; the flat base is usually 3 to 5 cm (1–2″) smaller. Match the base to your hob ring or zone. On an induction hob, check that induction is listed under Hob types: a magnet sticks firmly to a base that works on induction.
Curved sides that make stirring easy
- Curved walls: a spoon or whisk follows the rounded edge with no corner to reach into.
- Uncoated: a bare, hand-hammered titanium cooking surface.
