Caring for a wooden board
Wash a wooden board by hand, dry it standing on its edge and oil it now and then with a food-safe oil. Never soak it or put it in the dishwasher: water that soaks in makes wood swell and crack.
Solid acacia with a slot handle

Each board's grain and colour differ a little from the photos. Hardwood is kind to knife edges, but a board needs a little oil now and then.

Care and cleaning
Wash by hand with warm soapy water, then dry the board standing on its edge. Rub in a little cooking oil from time to time to keep the wood from drying out.

Which size should I choose? The 34 cm board suits a lemon, an onion or a small loaf. The 38.5 cm board gives room for a joint of meat or several vegetables at once.
Can it go in the dishwasher? No. Wash it by hand, as the heat and water in a dishwasher crack wood.
