The ship is fixed inside the globe and cannot be removed, so the decanter is rinsed rather than scrubbed. Lift it out of the stand by the globe, not the neck, when you pour. The wood tone of the stand varies between the photos, from near black to reddish brown.

Care and cleaning
Rinse the decanter with warm water and a drop of washing-up liquid, swirl, then rinse well and let it drain upside down. Wash the glasses by hand and dry them with a soft cloth to keep the etching clear. Wipe the stand with a dry cloth.
Frequently asked questions
What can I keep in it? Whisky, rum, brandy or cognac all suit it. It holds 900 ml, a little more than a standard 70 cl bottle.
Do the glasses match the decanter? Yes. Both tumblers carry the same frosted world map as the globe.
Does the ship come out? No. The glass ship is part of the decanter and stays inside it.
