Caring for a wooden board
Wash a wooden board by hand, dry it standing on its edge and oil it now and then with a food-safe oil. Never soak it or put it in the dishwasher: water that soaks in makes wood swell and crack.
Solid walnut, nothing sealed on top

- Unsealed: no lacquer, glaze or synthetic coating.
- Kind to knives: a hardwood surface that spares sharp edges.
